Speed Social Marketing is the creation of Richard Barry.
Rich is a veteran of Viacom International Media Networks . As the creator of shows such as Slimetime Live, U-Pick Live, TEENick, etc.. Rich has worked in almost every aspect of media production from PA to Live TV director.
He began his career working for Howard Stern in New York City. He moved over to Nickelodeon as a production coordinator – and stayed with the network as it rose to the number one kids channel for 10 plus years. He oversaw the promotional campaigns for 90's classics like Clarissa Explains it all, GUTS, Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Legends of the Hidden Temple and others. Years later he created a team which produced over 1200 episodes of Live television. He was also involved in every Kids Choice Awards from 1999 on, overseeing the live pre-show from 2000-2009 and the entire International production from 2010 to 2018.
Throughout his years in media - his passion was always racing. Rich produced events at Nascar races all over the country at tracks like Charlotte Motor Speedway, Bristol Motor Speedway, Kansas Speedway, and Chicagoland. Rich first raced with the NHRA at Raceway Park in Englishtown NJ and later with Porsche club, taking on Watkins Glen, Summit Point, Lime Rock, Road Atlanta and Pocono. In 2018, Rich opened up Speed Social Marketing to combine his two passions; media and motorsports, and the company was off to the races (pun intended).
